Our Approach

A careful process for important decisions.

We believe confidence comes from understanding — not from being rushed. Our process is designed to make each step clear and give your circumstances the attention they deserve.

How we work together

Step 1 — A confidential introduction

We begin with a private conversation about what prompted you to seek advice and what you would like to achieve. If we cannot provide the service you need, we will tell you.

Step 2 — Understanding your circumstances

Where relevant, we gather information about your finances, objectives, knowledge and experience, investment term, liquidity requirements, attitude to risk and capacity for loss.

Step 3 — Research and assessment

We consider appropriate options available within our permissions and provider arrangements. We assess both potential benefits and material disadvantages, including risks, restrictions and costs.

Step 4 — Clear recommendation

Where we provide advice, we explain what is being recommended, why it may be suitable and what you need to understand before making a decision. You will receive the relevant product and disclosure documents.

Step 5 — Implementation

If you decide to proceed, we guide you through the application and verification process. Payments are made in accordance with the formal instructions for the relevant provider or institution; Wolstan does not hold client money.

Step 6 — Ongoing support

Financial plans should evolve with life. Depending on the service agreed, we remain available for reviews, maturity decisions, pension updates and changes in your circumstances.

What we will ask from you

To meet regulatory and provider requirements, we may request:

  • Proof of identity and residential address
  • Tax residency and tax-identification details
  • Information on source of funds and source of wealth
  • Details of existing investments, savings or pensions
  • Information about your objectives and financial circumstances

Providing complete and accurate information helps us assess eligibility and suitability and protect all parties involved.
